SAN JOSE, Costa Rica – Jan. 9, 2007 – In a year when best property
nominees dotted the landscape throughout the world, only one in the country
of Costa Rica – Bayside Tambor – stood out enough to take home
the industry’s top honor.
The Nicoya Peninsula beachfront villas, located within the world-renowned Los Delfines Golf & Country Club, won a four-star award at the 13th annual International Property Awards in London. It was the second consecutive IPA prize for Riverside Developers, the visionaries behind Bayside Tambor. The Costa Rican company, headed by Jerry and Joshua ten Brink, won a Best Development four-star award in 2005 for Riverside Condominiums in Escazu.
The International Property Awards are referred to as the “Oscars of the industry,” where more than 500 property professionals representing 45 countries gathered in early November to mark the occasion at London’s Grosvenor Square.
“The recognition for Bayside Tambor, coming on the heels of last year’s award for Riverside, further demonstrates that our properties are second-to-none,” said Joshua ten Brink, general manager of Riverside Developers. “It’s an honor to be the lone developer in Costa Rica to win two straight awards from the IPA, and we’re confident that our next project, Ocean Whisper, will be recognized as well.”
Ocean Whisper will be coming from a fine pedigree. Riverside Condos won over the IPA judges with its location and value. Bayside Tambor wowed them with amenities and beach-front appeal. Now, Ocean Whisper hits the scene and will become a leading contender for a 2007 IPA award.
Also set within the grounds of Los Delfines, Ocean Whisper is a condominium hotel featuring state-of-the-art one, two and three-bedroom apartments, with panoramic Pacific views in a secure, gated community. Tropical designs and high-end appointments grace the apartments, while a poolside bar, spa, ranch, and yoga center accentuate the Ocean Whisper grounds. Los Delfines is one of the country’s most technically sound and innovative golf courses, skillfully designed and in sync with its lush surroundings.
The Ocean Whisper apartments are top of the line, but what surrounds the community is equally impressive. The latest enterprise from the award-winning developer puts the Pacific at residents’ front door. The serenity of 5-Mile Beach is just minutes from Ocean Whisper.
To the north and south on the Nicoya Peninsula lie two locations on the top of every tourist list. Costa Rica’s first national park, Cabo Blanco, is north of Ocean Whisper and features an ecological paradise, with hundreds of plant and animal species. To the south is the traveler trendy Malpais & Montezuma, which sports several boutique hotels, a spectacular 50-foot waterfall, fine dining and an exciting nightlife.
“Costa Rica has become the world’s fastest-growing second home hot spot for a good reason,” said ten Brink. “But buying property in a different county can be intimidating. That’s why it’s important to go with a company like Riverside, which has a great track record and a pristine reputation to back up its properties.”
Travelers have called Costa Rica a tropical paradise. Real estate investors
have called it a golden opportunity. Riverside Developers will provide
the best of both worlds with its latest project, Ocean Whisper.
